Museum
Overview

The Williamson County Archives museum includes a series of showcases of Williamson County history beginning with Native American artifacts, long hunters, the formation of the county, the partitioning of the Town of Franklin, and further on until present day.

Many of our donated items have been used in booths that depict a historical setting or activity such as:

  • Quilting
  • Country Kitchen
  • Old School Room
  • Wash Day
  • Sewing Room
  • County Musicians
  • Moonshine Still

At this time, the Williamson Archives is seeking donations for the museum. A contribution would ensure the preservation of history's remains, and as the saying goes, "One man's trash is another man's treasure."
