Detention
Overview
The Detention Division is commanded by a Captain. The division consists of one lieutenant, and 93 deputies.

The mission is to provide a safe, secure and cost efficient facility for confining adults who have been sentenced for detention by the courts.

The Williamson County Jail has a capacity for 454 inmates and houses county, state, and federal prisoners.

All visits are made on first come first served basis.
You must be here 30 minutes prior to visit time
or you will not be signed in for that time.
You must have a valid I.D. to sign up for a visit.
Out of town visits (100+ miles away) are M-F 09:30 - 12:30,
must be scheduled one week in advance.
