Emergency Preparedness

Local health departments work closely with local, state and federal officials to maintain a constant state of readiness to respond to public health emergencies where services such as mass inoculation, treatment or prophylaxis may be required. Williamson County Health Department has a close working relationship with the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) and other local public safety agencies to assist with local emergencies as they arise.
